Description
A walk along the Fraser River in BC on Dec 31 provided insight into the salmon after the spawning season. Many fish appeared to have been moved with the river to their resting place along the shoreline. Some wrapped around rocks as the river swept them down and others resting on the rocks or sunk in the mud. I had fished this river during the sockeye run. Now it is quiet.
Cycle of life: a transition and not an end.
